SATURDAY BEFORE THE CHILDREN ARRIVE!!!

So last week was teacher orientation and I loved every second of it. The teachers are so nice and I love how the school is small which gives it a homely feeling. We had several short meetings and CPR training, but most of the time we set up our classrooms. The children do not begin school until Wednesday and therefore we can finish final touches on Monday and Tuesday. I did not realize how much time goes into setting up a class. I worked ten hours a day for five days and I am not even half way finished. I uncluttered all the shelves and organized like crazy. I moved a lot of shelves around and added many personal touches. I am so excited to begin teaching! Today I purchased some things to make my practical life activities a complete set. It is so tiring going from store to store trying to find little things such as a nail brush hehe.. and... I always end up leaving with more than what I needed, like a $140 purchase at TJ Maxx, oops :) But I ended up getting 3 beautiful skirts!!! Well I hope you continue to follow and read my blog.
