The past two weeks have been the most intense time in my journey to become a Montessori guide. We are almost done with the math area and guess what that means.... We are almost finished! I can not believe it. I remember 2 years ago working at the Suzuki school
and being introduced to the Montessori way of teaching. I am so thankful of that opportunity because of working there I found my true passion and fullfilment out of life. I started in September of this year however I was accepted into the program last year. I had to wait for financial reasons as well as some other reasons, however I am
very glad that I was a part of the 2010-2011 group because I have made friends that I can't imagine my life without them. We are like soul mates :)
I feel so blessed to have this opportunity to dedicate one full year to gaining all the knowledge possible to make a difference in early childhood education. Birth through 6 is the most important time in a child's life and most of the time is not looked upon as being so important. Ever since my training and seeing how amazing Montessori materials are in aiding growth and development, concentration, social cohesion, freedom within a prepared environment and so much more aiding the child in every step of the way is honestly incredible.
This training has been the most challenging experience and honestly it has changed my life. I have become more in touched with
myself and I don't need all the material and social aspects of life as much as before. I am more content and appreciate of things I have and truely have dedicated myself to one year of instilling the most knowledge possible into
myself so I can make a difference in the lives of
many people.
I am just feeling very blessed and it's getting closer to graduation and I am feeling a little sad.
Peace,
Shelina
Happy Friday!!!
