Honestly, I was not looking forward to Monday because of the amount of work we had over the weekend. I did not think my brain had the ability to take in any more information. When I woke up this morning, I was about to turn my alarm clock off and go back to bed, not knowing how, I managed to get up and make the best of Monday. I actually participated in class here and there and the best part of my day was getting one on one time during supervised practice. I feel like everything is going to be ok.
The language area seems to be my weakness. There are things I have never heard of like appositives and attributes in the way it is introduced to children in the Casa. I know what they are, but I haven't heard those terms connected to nouns and adjectives. I feel so worried that I begin student teaching next week and I am not sure if I can present materials from the Language area with confidence and I AM GOING TO CHANGE THAT THIS WEEK! Starting from today, I am doing nothing but language, and I also started a little folder to guide me a long the way. I am trying to be efficient with my time, but it just seems there is not enough time in a day.
So, today I began to study Reading Analysis, and tomorrow I will continue Reading Analysis and slowly move towards Word Study. I am actually meeting with my trainer to get more help with Word Study so that makes me feel better.
Other than that, I have nothing interesting to share. I have been absorbed with my work and hardly have time for anything else. I was feeling very flustered Saturday night and decided that I was going to stop everything and treat myself to some goodies from Sephora. So I ended up splurging on face wash, body scrub, and a nail polish that I can not wait to receive any day now. I will feel much better after washin my face, bathing in my mint body scrub, and painting my nails a pretty gray color.
As for now, I am going to take a nap and then get started on my work! 2 months and 3 more weeks to go until Graduation!!!! Gosh, what am I going to do when I have free time!
